  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk and heavy cream. Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching, until it is hot but not boiling.
  2. Once the milk mixture is steaming, add the white chocolate chips. Stir continuously until all the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add 1-2 drops of pink food coloring and stir well until the color is fully incorporated.
  4. Carefully pour the pink hot chocolate into mugs. If desired, top with whipped cream, colorful sprinkles, or marshmallows.
