- Once softened, mash the strawberries with a fork or blend until pureed. Set aside.

- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar is dissolved.
- Fold in the prepared strawberry puree until well combined.
Churning the Ice Cream
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, about 20-25 minutes.
Freezing and Serving
- Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Serve in bowls, optionally garnishing with fresh strawberry slices.
