Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut out heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter or knife.
- Place strawberry jam in the center of each heart.
- Add fresh strawberry slices on top of the jam.
- Brush the edges with the beaten egg and water mixture.
- Seal each heart with a fork.
- Arrange on the baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
