Preparation
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions, combining it with the required water, oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until it springs back when lightly touched.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Assembly
- Poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon or a skewer, approximately 1 inch apart.
- In a small bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and strawberry syrup until blended, then pour it over the warm cake.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Prepare the topping by combining the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, sugar, and strawberry jello until crumbly.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake and sprinkle the graham cracker mixture on top.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh chopped strawberries before serving.
