  1. Prepare the Chocolate Cake: Start by following the instructions on the chocolate cake mix box. Once the cake is baked, allow it to cool completely.
  2. Whip the Heavy Cream: In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Cut the Cake: Once cooled, cut the chocolate cake into small cubes.
  4. Layer the Ingredients: In a trifle dish or a large serving bowl, layer the chocolate cake cubes, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and sliced strawberries, finishing with a layer of whipped cream.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
  6. Chill: Cover the trifle and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of instant coffee granules to the whipped cream. You may also incorporate other fruits such as bananas or raspberries for added variety.
