  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix Tender crumb layer
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Drizzled over cake mix

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar For cheesecake mixture
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For cheesecake flavor
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Optional, for dusting before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the strawberry pie filling layer.
  6. Sprinkle the dry white cake mix evenly over the cheesecake layer without mixing.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the dry cake mix.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Let the cake cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
