Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until fully cooked through; drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese and optional spices until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about a tablespoon of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the crescent dough over the filling from the wide end, tucking in the sides.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between for rising.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Pair with a tangy dipping sauce like ranch or a zesty hot sauce. For added flavor, try including chopped herbs in the filling or adjust the type of cheese used.
