Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and celery and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the garlic powder, sage, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the stuffing mix and let it absorb the liquid for 5 minutes.
  7. In a large baking dish, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken and the stuffing mixture. Mix well.
  8. If using, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
