Method
Prepare the Raspberry Sauce
- In a small saucepan, combine the fresh raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the raspberries break down and the mixture thickens—this should take about 8-10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool down.
Blend the Milkshake
- In a blender, mix the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and half a cup of your freshly made raspberry sauce. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Prepare Your Glasses
- Drizzle raspberry jam along the inside of your glasses for added flavor and visual appeal.
Assemble the Freakshakes
- Pour your milkshake mixture into the prepared glasses, filling them about 3/4 full.
Top it Off
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until it forms soft peaks. Spoon a dollop of this whipped cream on each freakshake.
Garnish
- Sprinkle crushed graham crackers over the whipped cream and place mini cheesecake slices on top. Finish with fresh raspberries and extra graham cracker crumbs.
Serve
- Hand each person a straw and a spoon, and enjoy this delectable treat!
Notes
To enhance the raspberry flavor, freeze some raspberries beforehand and blend them with the ice cream. You can substitute with a dairy-free ice cream and use coconut milk for a twist. Adjust sugar in the sauce according to taste.
