Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter with the softened unsalted butter. Beat until airy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the brown sugar and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix until glossy.
  3. Gently fold in the heat-treated flour and salt until a thick dough forms.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
  5. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Press the cookie dough mixture evenly into the dish.
  6. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips over the surface and gently press them into the dough.
  7. Refrigerate for at least two hours to firm up the bars.
  8. Once set, remove from the dish and slice into squares.

For best results, ensure your butter is perfectly softened and allow the bars to chill thoroughly before slicing.
