Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Coating and Searing the Chicken
- Coat each chicken breast in the Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly to cover completely.
- Heat a little oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Baking
- Transfer the skillet with the chicken into the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Making the Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and bring to a gentle simmer. Let thicken for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serving
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan. Refrigerate coated chicken for 15-20 minutes before cooking for a crispier coating.
