Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs.
- Combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Coating
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Add a few drops of green food coloring to the melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted green chocolate and place them back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle red decorations on top while the chocolate is still wet.
Finishing Up
- Allow the chocolate coating to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Notes
For a healthier option, use reduced-fat cream cheese or dark chocolate. Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing. Work quickly with melted chocolate to maintain a smooth coating.
