Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into sticks or wedges, aiming for uniform pieces about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until blended.
- Add the sweet potato sticks to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Spread the coated sweet potato sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the sticks and return to the oven until melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
Notes
Ensure the sweet potatoes are cut evenly for uniform cooking and do not overcrowd the baking sheet. Use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
