Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and dark brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then pour in the molasses and combine until smooth.

Baking

Cooling and Frosting
