Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a loaf pan and set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. In another small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
Assembly
  1. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Spoon half of the cinnamon filling over the batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  3. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon filling.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. While the bread is baking, make the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Once the bread has cooled slightly, drizzle the icing over the warm loaf.

Ensure your ingredients are at room temperature before mixing. Avoid overmixing the batter to maintain a light texture.
