Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, salt, and sugar. Gradually add the olive oil and cold water. Stir until a dough forms and press into a greased 9-inch deep-dish pie pan.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and Italian sausage. Brown the meat, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the meat and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the drained diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the crust, layer pepperoni slices, and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
