Preparation
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- In your crockpot, combine the cooked beef and onion mixture with the uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 3-4 hours until the macaroni is tender and the mixture is creamy.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese about 15 minutes before serving until melted.
Serving
- Spoon the cheesy Crockpot Cheeseburger Mac into bowls. Garnish with sliced green onions or additional cheese if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, use seasoned beef broth or add Worcestershire sauce. Optional extras include diced bell peppers or mushrooms.
