Preparation
  1. Begin by tossing the sliced beef in a bowl with cornstarch until each piece is fully coated. Shake off any excess cornstarch.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Cooking
  1. Fry the beef in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red chili flakes until well combined.
  5. Pour the sauce over the sautéed vegetables, stirring well to coat. Add the crispy beef back into the skillet and toss everything together until heated through.
  6. Sprinkle chopped green onions over the dish before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider double-coating the beef with egg before adding cornstarch. Serve over rice and include stir-fried greens for a complete meal.
