Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it to prevent sticking.
- In a medium-sized bowl, add the bite-sized pieces of salmon fillets followed by the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Toss everything together until the salmon is evenly coated in the seasonings.
Cooking
- Arrange the seasoned salmon pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is thoroughly cooked and the edges are crispy.
- While the salmon is baking, combine the mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Once the salmon bites are baked to perfection, transfer them to a large mixing bowl and pour the freshly prepared Bang Bang sauce over the salmon. Toss gently to coat each piece evenly.
Serving
- Garnish your Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra heat, feel free to add more sriracha to the Bang Bang sauce. To achieve optimal crispiness, ensure the salmon pieces are not overcrowded on the baking sheet.
