Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer while stirring. Add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir well and let the sauce thicken slightly for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Gently mix in the cooked tortellini, ensuring each piece is coated with the sauce.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top for a crunchy finish. Optionally, add more mozzarella.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
