Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 20 pieces jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained The perfect vessel for our hearty filling.
For the Sauce
  • 3 cups marinara sauce A tangy-sweet base that ties everything together.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Adds richness and creates a dreamy sauce.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping) A golden crust to finish off the dish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
  3. Drain any excess fat and return the beef to the skillet.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the beef and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Mixing the Filling
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  2. Add the cooked beef mixture to the cheese mixture and stir until thoroughly blended.
Stuffing and Cooking
  1. Stuff each cooked jumbo shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  2. Place the stuffed shells in the prepared baking dish, arranging them side by side.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the marinara sauce and heavy cream.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the stuffed shells.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let the stuffed shells cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make ahead: These stuffed shells can be prepared and assembled a day ahead of time. Add some veggies for extra nutrition. Customize your cheese based on availability.
