- Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking
- In the same skillet, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove and set aside with the sausage.
- Add sliced bell peppers, diced onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Cajun seasoning and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet, mixing everything until well coated.
- Toss in the cooked penne pasta, ensuring everything is well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream cheese. This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
