Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, softened cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Blend until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Add dollops of the remaining batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Make sure the bananas are very ripe for optimal moisture. Mix in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips for added texture. Avoid overmixing for the best results.
