Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the orange zest and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter blend, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped dried cranberries.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Gently press down on each ball with a fork.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
