Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Stir in the cocoa powder to create a smooth dough.
  8. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
  9. Scoop the dough and roll it into balls. Place them on the baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until edges are set, and centers remain soft.
  2. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
