Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pour in the melted butter and combine it with the granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and drizzle in the vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Baking
  1. Scoop a tablespoon of dough, flatten it slightly, and place chocolate chips in the center, enclosing the chocolate.
  2. Arrange cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet with enough space between them.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  4. Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt and serve warm.
