Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are beautifully blended.
- Pour the creamy chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Scatter these pieces on top of the chicken mixture.
- Drizzle the melted butter generously over the biscuit pieces.
Baking
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly before serving.
