  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough Forms a flaky, crispy exterior.

  • to taste spray cooking spray Helps achieve a perfect golden crust.

For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and mix well.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses until melted.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Assembly & Baking
  1. Spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, roll up, and pinch edges to seal.
  2. Place the taco sticks on the baking sheet, spritz with cooking spray, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Allow to cool slightly, serve warm garnished with cilantro and with salsa for dipping.

Notes

Don't overfill the dough, and ensure to seal edges well to prevent filling from escaping during baking. For a healthier version, consider ground turkey or chicken, or make a vegetarian option with beans.
