Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced hot dogs, cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
Notes
Consider swapping in different cheeses or adding diced jalapeños for some spice. This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
