Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat, allowing the beef to brown and the onion to become tender.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add shredded cheddar cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until the cheeses are melted and thoroughly combined.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  6. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough into a log, sealing the edges tightly.
  8. Place the roll on a baking sheet and brush it with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure the dough is at room temperature for easier handling. Don’t rush the browning process; well-cooked beef will have a better flavor and texture. Allow the filled dough to rest a few minutes before slicing to help retain its shape.
