Ingredients
Method
Cooking the Chicken
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried oregano while cooking for maximum flavor.
Adding Garlic
- Once the chicken has cooked through, add the minced garlic to the skillet.
- Sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant.
Melting the Cheese
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
Warming the Tortillas
- Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave or a separate skillet until pliable.
Assembling the Wraps
- Divide the cheesy garlic chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas.
- Spread a layer of sour cream on the inside of each tortilla, if using, before adding the chicken mixture.
- Roll the tortillas up tightly to form wraps.
Serving
- Garnish wraps with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to two months. Consider marinating chicken breasts for extra flavor.
