Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Slowly add in the flour, ground cardamom, salt, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into small 1-inch balls and flatten each slightly, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
Glazing
  1. Whisk together the powdered sugar and orange juice for the glaze until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
