Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries, taking care not to smash them.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added crunch, consider adding walnuts or pecans. Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a vibrant flavor. Ripe bananas yield the best results; the darker the skin, the sweeter the banana. You can also experiment with spices like nutmeg or allspice to enhance flavor.
