Cooking the Pasta
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine or spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended and creamy, then set aside.
Cooking the Shrimp
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until bright pink and opaque.
Combining Pasta and Sauce
- Lower the heat and add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour the prepared sauce over the pasta and shrimp, tossing gently to coat.
Finishing and Serving
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh shrimp. Adjust spice levels according to your preference. Consider using whole-wheat pasta for a healthier option.
