Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  3. In a medium bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
  4. Stir in the granulated sugar and melted butter into the mashed banana.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  2. The cookies are done when the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are set.
  3. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
